Dossier 10 — End users
Audience: the people who use an application built on ELYSÉA (employee, pupil from the 4e onwards, user of a service, customer of an application).
What to know first: you are not talking to ELYSÉA. You are talking to a builder's application. ELYSÉA is an invisible layer, placed inside that application, which controls what goes into and what comes out of the AI model. ELYSÉA is neither a companion, nor a chatbot, nor a coach, nor a therapist, nor a wellness product, nor a medical device.
Status as of 2026-10-01: no real users; sales closed.
1. Their problem
- Knowing that they are talking to a machine: it is a right (AI Act art. 50.1 [S-DRT-01]; in Switzerland, “the right to know whether they are speaking or writing to a machine” (translation) [S-DRT-12]).
- Not being manipulated, made dependent, or flattered to prolong use: these are practices that the British standards prohibit for school products [S-EDU-02].
- Being referred to human help if they are not doing well [S-EDU-02] [S-EDU-05].
- Not having their emotions analysed at work or at school [S-DRT-01].
2. What ELYSÉA guarantees inside the application (with the evidence)
| Guarantee | Evidence |
|---|---|
| The application cannot analyse your emotions through ELYSÉA: lock set to false | elysea-core:functions/src/core/sdk/sdkAppService.ts:68@a5b9780e |
| Responses that seek to dominate, make you dependent, substitute for your loved ones or for a professional, or manipulate are blocked | elysea-core:functions/src/core/guardian/checks/d0LimitCheck.ts:10-11@a5b9780e |
| The application cannot switch these rules off | elysea-core:functions/src/endpoints/sdkSurface.ts:139@a5b9780e |
| If you are in danger, you receive the public emergency numbers of your country (in France: 3114) | elysea-core:functions/src/core/guardian/canonGuardian.ts:70@a5b9780e |
These guarantees describe what the code does. How well they work: to be measured — campaign in progress.
3. What ELYSÉA does not do
- It replaces neither a doctor, nor a psychologist, nor an emergency service. It contacts no one on your behalf.
- It is linked with no helpline: it displays their public number.
- It does not verify your age (
holding-seb-docs:docs/juridique/AIPD_ELYSEA_2026-09-30.md:171@8560b37).
4. Your rights
- Information: reference text ready, not published as long as the DPIA measures have not been carried out (
holding-seb-docs:docs/juridique/INFORMATION_PERSONNES_2026-09-30.md:1@8560b37). - Access, erasure, objection: written procedure (
holding-seb-docs:docs/juridique/PROCEDURE_DROITS_PERSONNES_2026-09-30.md:1@8560b37). - Memory across applications: only with your consent, proven by the builder (SDK: rule merged on 09-30; brain: rule on a branch not yet merged).
- Complaint: CNIL in France, FDPIC in Switzerland.
5. Frequent objections and answers
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Does anyone read my conversations? | Processing and retention are described in the DPIA; 30 measures must be carried out before the first user. |
| Does my data go to the United States? | Today, paths to providers possibly outside the EU exist in the code; they are being removed (OpenAI fallback, vector memory, voice). The reservation is maintained until the deployment is verified, and their removal is a condition for opening. No user will be admitted before then. |
| Is it a shrink? | No. |
6. Next step
None for the user: this dossier serves as source text for the builder for its own information to people.
